Remarkably Great is, of course, the follow-on to Strangely, Incredibly Good, and it faces the same question you’d expect to bedevil a sequel: our protagonist is older and possibly wiser, but how much longer can she go without her True Love? For the true romantic, the answer is always “As long as it takes, but no longer,” and our author is kind enough to give us more of Cat Glamour’s backstory, how she got to where she is, and some of the reasons it’s been harder for her to move than she might like. (Spoiler: You wouldn’t like her ex, not one little bit.) This part of the story moves every bit as quickly as before, and there are more happy endings than you were anticipating. Love, after all, melds the magical and the mundane; and sometimes the mundane is easier to deal with.
