It was 1990 when the fledgling Fox network put on something called Parker Lewis Can’t Lose, a delightfully-unhinged comedy about a high-school kid who out-Ferrises Bueller, which ran for three seasons. Lewis himself, played by Corin Nemec, later seen as Jonas Quinn in Stargate SG-1, is fun to watch, but television is all about conflict, and there was no greater conflict than that between Parker Lewis and Grace Musso, principal of Santo Domingo High, played by Melanie Chartoff.
This is one of the few shows I watched religiously, and, well, there’s an obvious reason for that:
Because it was funny, dammit.
