From the “It Could Be Worse” files

The high yesterday was 18, if you can call that a high. But we didn’t get any substantial amount of the horrid frozen stuff they threatened us with, the stuff we got in abundance last year around this time, the stuff Teresa’s been enduring this year.

Oh, she has pictures, too.

Sometimes I’m not sure which is worse… that horrid cold or ice and snow.

Then I figure it just depends on which is happening to you at the moment. At least we now have power and internet. Saturday night it went down in the teens, but generally the Northeast doesn’t get as bitterly cold as the Midwest.

Glad I could make the 18 feel a little better for you though.

    :-)

Having experienced last year’s “fun”, complete with the sounds of ‘firecrackers’ from all the tree limbs snapping and all the clean-up that followed, I will take bone-chilling cold before ice ANY DAY!

    Oh, It’s Just the Weather…

Reading this gives me bad flashbacks of earlier this afternoon. The cold, I can take. The ice and snow–or rather the results of said solidified H2O–freaks the hell out of me…
