The thick edge of the wedge
Sort-of-actress/sort-of-singer Jessica Simpson now has a signature shoe line, mostly innocuous, though the "Anna" wedge strikes me as unusually hideous.
[Previous version of this paragraph deleted due to blatant inaccuracy.] Available in sizes 5 to 10; Simpson's official size is a 7½, which doesn't necessarily mean she has a built-in excuse not to be seen in these. Posted at 8:30 PM to Rag Trade
1. I kinda like the shoes-- I think it's the gaudiness that attracts me.
2. She wears a size 10 shoe? But she's a small girl! Imdb says she's 5 foot 3-- that's a bit disproportionate isn't it? (I wear size 11)
3. How did you ever find this link? I am having visions of you running searches on 'Jessica Simpson hot big feet.'
Forget the size 10. This was obtained from a fan page which apparently didn't pay too much attention and obviously neither did I. She does, however, have something of a tendency, at least in photos I've seen, to hang off the front of the shoe, which usually means a combination of very long toes and the desire to be in a smaller size despite them. She's probably not a 10, but I doubt she's the 7½ they claim.
I saw one of the shoes first in a magazine ad; they said the line could be found at Nordstroms, so that's where I looked.
Big shoe size? This is edging uncomfortably close to that "is she really a man?" theory.
You'd be surprised how many people believe that of Ann Coulter, whose shoe size is unknown to me.
